As Guan Zhong came out of his home, he took a glare at Cheng Du. He knew today wouldn't be an ordinary day. He thought otherwise. Like usual, instead of visiting friends, attending to banquets looking for teachers, he would make a name for himself. Being a proud descendant of the Guan family, after all he knew he had a duty.

''(Sigh)... Today, I will fullfill a legacy which my family name will continue to go throughout time! I am quite Eager to start off, but I don't know where to begin and I have no allies at my side, or I at theirs. I will go visit the pub for some advice, that sounds like a sound plan!''

Guan Zhong's tracks traced off to the local pub...

The Barman looked at Guan Zhong:

"Hi sir, can I serve you some wine?"

Taking a new path, after what he had heard, about his brothers. Guan Zhong's mind was foggy, and soon he started to feel a little hopeless at his own situation. And so began his melancholy. Guan Zhong had entred the pub, he saw the barman greet him.

''I need to calm down my own nerve. Yes please, I'd like a selection of your wine any kind would do for me.''

As Guan Zhong started to feel confused about what was going on, he knew he had to find the truth about his brothers, and their whereabouts. First he thought to himself where to begin...

The barman examined him, then said:

"Hummm... You should take the smooter one, came through this morning, if you want it, it's 3G, though. I suggest that, because you seem tense, is something wrong?"

Guan Zhong laid a heavy sigh.

''That is... Alright I will take as you suggest then. As a matter of fact yes, something is wrong. I have been looking all over town for my brothers, but alas it seems we have split up somewhere. I know that has to be it! I care not what the townspeople have to say, I know they are somewhere out there... Hopefully. I pray that they are in good health. I must venture out there and find them.''

Guan Zhong became briefly calmed...

The Barman answered:

"Ok, that will be 3G. By the way, what are the name of your brothers? I get so many informations here, I might know something..."

Guan Zhong's current money is 100G. Will you pay 3G for the wine?

Guan Zhong, paid the Bar man right after his drink. Eargly to know if he had information, he quickly told him their names.

''My brothers go by the names of, Liu Meng Xuande, and Zhang Huang. Can you really help me?''

The barman flinched, then said:

"I don't know any Zhang Huang, but as for lord Liu, it shouldn't be hard. He's the emperor over at the imperial capital of Neo Chang An. Since it's probably the first time you'll go explore, want me to give you a pointer or two for what's the quickest route to Neo Chang An, and how to explore?"

The obvious tutorial question: Yes, or no?

Guan Zhong, do you add "See Liu Meng Xuande" as one of your personal goals?

Guan Zhong, then quickly replied

''Th-The Emperor? Please, yes tell me what you know. Perhaps Liu Meng knows the whereabouts of Huang...''

The barman started explaining:

"Alright, well, first to explore, you need to look at the first post for each topic in the explore mode, to know where to go. Then as you try a location, you get different results. Gates and other cities are different areas than where we are (Cheng Du). So if you decide, for example, to go towards Tong gate, you have to tell it in the topic where you are (In this case, Cheng Du), and use the dice roller to roll 3x6 sided dices. The number you get will determine if you get an event on the way there."

The barman stopped for a while. Then continued:

"I hope you understand how to move in explore mode. Now, the quickest route in my opinion, would be this."
The Barman showed a map, it had lines and annotations on it.

Cheng Du > Mian Zhu Gate > Fu > Han Zhong > Yang Ping gate > Wu Zhang Plains > Chen Cang Gate > Neo Chang An > Castle - Emperor's chamber

"Hope that helps. If you want a map like that, you're better off trying with the emperor."

Zhang Taixun slowly walked past the buildings in the great city of Cheng Du. He was still young, yet had decided to explore the vast continent. Cheng Du was his base. But first, what did he actually want? Of course, to join an army. But how? Looking around, he found a pub. Thinking that he might get some information like most adventurers do, he entered the building.

"I want a drink, please," Zhang Taixun said.

The Barman looked at Zhang Taixun.

"You can have some for 3G, but aren't you a little young? No matter. It's 3G.

Zhang Taixun's current money is 100G, will you pay 3G for Wine?

Zhang Taixun took his money pouch and shook out 3 gold pieces. Handing them to the barman, he took the cup of wine and sat down. He took a sip and looked around. There were people, yes, but who should he ask to get the proper information?

"Do you know where I can join the army?" he asked the barman, taking another sip.

The Barman replied:

"An Army? Well, you can go and see the prefecture, under Lord Liu Meng Xuande, here in Cheng Du. You might want to check it out, if you want."

"Prefecture? And where would he be?" Zhang Taixun asked, eager to get more information out of this good barman. "By the way, what army is this? Are there any special things of it? If you might know."

The Barman replied:

"It's just to the north of this bar. See that building with a flag? That's the prefecture. As for what kind of army it is, I don't really know, since most soldiers go to the bar in Neo Chang An instead..."

Zhang Taixun almost sputtered out what he was drinking. After swallowing it, he looked up. "Neo Chang An? My hometown? So I came all the way here when I could get more information there?" Taking the last sip from his glass, Zhang Taixun got up. "Thanks," he said. He took 1g from his pouch and placed it on the table, then exited the bar.

Soon he reached the prefecture. "So, it was a building, not a person. Hm." The guards there asked his name. "I'm Zhang Taixun, age 20, and I'm here to get some help in joining the army." The guards opened the door for him. A messenger was sent inside, and he was to sit on a bench in the inner courtyard for a while.
